Last July I launched this blog with 2 goals in mind. Number one, be a source of entertainment for those of you who share my love for culture, creativity, technology, and the church. 4 very distinct areas that I believe intertwine and are the catalyst for the future ahead of us. My second goal was to provide consistent content. I never wanted a week to go by without at least positing 3 articles. Needless to say, I have been an abysmal failure, or the extenuating circumstances of my life have been so overwhelming, that I couldn't maintain good form. I'll let you be the judge of that little predicament.
This past fall our salesmen, project manager, and graphic designer moved on to greener pastures. I am deeply indebted to these gentlemen for the services they have provided to our company. One of these men is now in the big state of California (and hopefully searching for a bride,) one is finishing up his degree (go buffs,) and the other is venturing into the world of small business, opening a pretty hip little coffee shop in canyon texas (don't tell him it's hip, he is a contrarian.)
Needless to say myself and our team has gone through some tremendous changes. I have had the privilege and some days the horror of being a designer, salesmen, project manager, bookkeeper, and sometimes even a writer. I do not say this to provoke the "Poor Patrick' emotion that is welling up deep inside you, but rather to say running a small business can sometimes be overwhelming and most of the time, more than one can handle. In the face of it all, I wouldn't change the past season for anything in the world.
The past few months we have made some incredible hires, and I am so excited to see what's next for our team. We have the most talented, unified, and fun team that I have ever had the privilege to be a part of. So all that to be said, I'm back people.
